Hoorn has several harbors with permanent moorings and places for passers-by. The municipality of Hoorn manages the Inner Port and Outer Port. You can also visit the Grashaven, the Vluchthaven and the Karperskuyl. Shower, toilet, launderette and harbor shop can be found at Mallegomsteeg 7. These facilities are open from 1 April to 1 October from 07:30 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 21:00. Also open at lunchtime in July and August. There will be limited opening in October. The telephone number of the harbor shop is 0229-249277. Fuel, not petrol, is available from the bunker ship Atalante in the Buitenhaven. There are various connection points for electricity along the Oude Doelenkade and Veermanskade. You do need your charged chip card for use. There are waste containers for household waste on the Doelenkade and at the harbor office/Hoofdtoren. Water is available free of charge at the Hoge Brug and on the Baatland. Chemical toilets can be emptied at the harbor office.
