Alternative to traditional Lappendag

Lappensale is an initiative of Hoorn inner city entrepreneurs in collaboration with Weekblad Zondag. Because in 2020 the traditional Lappendag on the third Monday of August, the last day of the fair, could not take place due to the Corona measures, a number of entrepreneurs decided to organize a 10-day event so that the Hoorn stores could still generate a piece of turnover. It turned out to be a golden opportunity. Many entrepreneurs liked the 10-day so much that the event has been continued in 2021. In 2022, the Lappsale will take place again from Saturday 6 August to Monday 15 August, and the city center of Hoorn will once again be full of unique Lapp Day bargains. Curious?
